AXA Investment Managers was praised as a pioneer in the leveraged loan space, being one of the first asset managers to develop dedicated European leveraged loans expertise and to manage the asset class within CDO structures. It also rolled out two major deals, the Jazz III CDO and the Adagio III CLO, in 2006. The key player at AXA is Pierre-Emmanuel Juillard, head of structured finance.
